Gamochaeta nivalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili tengah dan selatan, Argentina barat dan selatan, hingga Kepulauan Falkland. Nama ilmiah Gamochaeta nivalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ángel Lulio Cabrera pada tahun 1961.
Gamochaeta spiciformis var. subaffinis Cabrera Gnaphalium affine var. pusillum Speg.
