Garcinia bancana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Clusiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia barat. Nama ilmiah Garcinia bancana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1861.
