Garcinia gibbsiae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Clusiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Queensland timur laut. Nama ilmiah Garcinia gibbsiae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1917.
