Garcinia lucida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Clusiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Garcinia lucida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Julien Joseph Vesque pada tahun 1893.
