Gardenia ovularis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Queensland (Cook timur). Nama ilmiah Gardenia ovularis diperkenalkan oleh Frederick Manson Bailey pada tahun 1893.
