Gardenia papuana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua New Guinea. Nama ilmiah Gardenia papuana diperkenalkan oleh Frederick Manson Bailey pada tahun 1909.
