Garhadiolus hamosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye selatan hingga Lebanon dan Iraq. Nama ilmiah Garhadiolus hamosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1875.
