Garnotia panicoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Garnotia panicoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Trimen pada tahun 1889.
