Garnotia stricta var. acutigluma merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya hingga Filipina dan Jawa. Nama ilmiah Garnotia stricta var. acutigluma diperkenalkan oleh Ernst Gottlieb von Steudel pada tahun 2015.
