Gaultheria crassa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Gaultheria crassa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Harry Howard Barton Allan pada tahun 1961.
