Geigeria ornativa subsp. orientalis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe hingga Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Geigeria ornativa subsp. orientalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hiram Wild pada tahun 1980.
