Gelasine gigantea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Gelasine gigantea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierfelice Ravenna pada tahun 2005.
