Genista halacsyi merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Yunani. Nama ilmiah Genista halacsyi diperkenalkan oleh Theodor Heinrich Hermann von Heldreich pada tahun 1900.
