Genista hispanica subsp. occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pyrenees barat hingga Spanyol utara. Nama ilmiah Genista hispanica subsp. occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georges Rouy pada tahun 1897.
