Gentiana sceptrum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gentianaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada barat hingga California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan king's scepter gentian. Nama ilmiah Gentiana sceptrum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1838.
