CHAñAR Geoffroeadecorticans (Gillies ex Hook. & Arn.) Burkart
Geoffroea decorticans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Amerika Selatan bagian selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan chañar. Nama ilmiah Geoffroea decorticans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gillies pada tahun 1949.
