Geophila pilosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Malaya, Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Geophila pilosa diperkenalkan oleh Henry Harold Welch Pearson pada tahun 1901.
