Geranium tenue merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Geraniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Geranium tenue diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Lena Tracy Hanks pada tahun 1907.
