Gibasis pellucida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga El Salvador. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan dotted bridalveil. Nama ilmiah Gibasis pellucida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Martin Martens pada tahun 1983.
