Gilia malior merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California hingga Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan scrub gilia. Nama ilmiah Gilia malior diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alva George Day pada tahun 1964.
