Gladiolus aequinoctialis var. tomentosus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Sierra Leone. Nama ilmiah Gladiolus aequinoctialis var. tomentosus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wessel Marais pada tahun 1973.
