Gladiolus alatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Gladiolus alatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1760.
