Gladiolus appendiculatus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mpumalanga hingga KwaZulu-Natal bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Gladiolus appendiculatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gwendoline Joyce Lewis pada tahun 1972.
