Gladiolus caryophyllaceus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat dan selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Gladiolus caryophyllaceus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicolaas Laurens Burman pada tahun 1812.
