Gladiolus hirsutus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Gladiolus hirsutus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1791.
