Glyphochloa divergens var. hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India. Nama ilmiah Glyphochloa divergens var. hirsuta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cecil Ernest Claude Fischer pada tahun 1981.
