Gmelina smithii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Pulau Papua bagian timur. Nama ilmiah Gmelina smithii diperkenalkan oleh Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1958.
