Gnidia laxa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Gnidia laxa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1894.
