Gnidia phaeotricha merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Gnidia phaeotricha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernest Friedrich Gilg pada tahun 1898.
