Goeppertia poeppigiana merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Marantaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan bagian barat hingga Brazil bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Goeppertia poeppigiana diperkenalkan oleh Ludwig Eduard Theodor Loesener pada tahun 2012.
