Goetzea ekmanii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Goetzea ekmanii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Eugen Schulz pada tahun 1933.
