Gomphandra capitulata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Stemonuraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Semenanjung Malaysia hingga Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Gomphandra capitulata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Franz Wilhelm Junghuhn pada tahun 1877.
