Gomphocarpus cancellatus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Namibia barat daya hingga Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Gomphocarpus cancellatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicolaas Laurens Burman pada tahun 1995.
