Gonatopus marattioides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Tanzania (Pegunungan Usambara). Nama ilmiah Gonatopus marattioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis (Gustav) Albert Peter pada tahun 1978.
