Goniophlebium lachnopus merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Paraguay hingga Argentina (Chaco dan Salta). Nama ilmiah Goniophlebium lachnopus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1866.
