Goniothalamus rotundisepalus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Annonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Semenanjung Thailand hingga Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Goniothalamus rotundisepalus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Murray Ross Henderson pada tahun 1927.
