Gonolobus stephanotrichus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apocynaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba tenggara hingga Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan anglepod. Nama ilmiah Gonolobus stephanotrichus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1866.
