Gorteria angustifolia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Gorteria angustifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl August Otto Hoffmann pada tahun 2018.
