Gossypium harknessii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Baja California Sur). Nama ilmiah Gossypium harknessii diperkenalkan oleh Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 1889.
