Gravesia violacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Gravesia violacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henri Lucien Jumelle pada tahun 1932.
