Grewia chalybaea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Grewia chalybaea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1888.
