Grewia forbesii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia selatan hingga Mozambique utara. Nama ilmiah Grewia forbesii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Henry Harvey pada tahun 1868.
