Grewia pachycalyx adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Botswana utara. Nama ilmiah Grewia pachycalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1892.
