Grewia rhomboides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Grewia rhomboides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wenceslas Bojer pada tahun 1846.
