Grewia sulcata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Provinsi Utara (Northen). Nama ilmiah Grewia sulcata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Maxwell Tylden Masters pada tahun 1868.
