Guadua maclurei merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Guadua maclurei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Walter Pohl pada tahun 1992.
