Gunnera magnifica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gunneraceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Kolombia (Caldas). Nama ilmiah Gunnera magnifica diperkenalkan oleh Harold St. John pada tahun 1957.
