Gunnera peltata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gunneraceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Juan Fernández (Pulau Robinson Crusoe). Nama ilmiah Gunnera peltata diperkenalkan oleh Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1856.
