Gustavia sessilis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia barat laut. Nama ilmiah Gustavia sessilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Scott Alan Mori pada tahun 1976.
