Gymnanthemum secundifolium merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Gymnanthemum secundifolium pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wenceslas Bojer pada tahun 1999.
